Initio Fuels LLC Initio Fuels is the low-cost producer of ASTM standard biodiesel. Using our proprietary technology, we are the only company that can cost-effectively convert all classes of fatty acids, including true waste grease, into ASTM standard biodiesel. As such, Initio Fuels is not constrained by the supply of expensive, highly refined, food-grade feedstock. Biodiesel is increasingly used across North America, Europe and elsewhere because of its cleaner burning qualities and lessened environmental impact when compared to mineral diesel. While biodiesel can be made from a variety of biological feed stocks such as vegetable oil and animal fats, Initio’s focus is on true waste fatty acids, such as ‘brown grease’, which waste producers usually pay to dispose of.
